Privacy Policy
CollectSocials — Operated by BEATLINK TECHNOLOGIES
Effective as of August 12, 2026
Thanks for choosing CollectSocials. We take your privacy very seriously. Our policy is to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites. We promise to never sell, rent, or otherwise distribute the information you submit on our website.
1. About Us
CollectSocials is a product of BEATLINK TECHNOLOGIES (registered in Pakistan). When this policy refers to "CollectSocials", "we", "us", or "our", it refers to BEATLINK TECHNOLOGIES and the CollectSocials service available at collectsocials.com.

2. Information We Collect
Website Visitors
Like most website operators, CollectSocials collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. CollectSocials's purpose in collecting non-personally-identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use the website. From time to time, CollectSocials may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
CollectSocials also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged-in users. CollectSocials only discloses logged-in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
Account Information
Certain visitors interact with CollectSocials in ways that require CollectSocials to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that CollectSocials gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account to provide a name, email address, and a website domain. Those who engage in transactions with CollectSocials — by purchasing a subscription, for example — are asked to provide additional information, including personal and financial information required to process those transactions.
In each case, CollectSocials collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with CollectSocials. CollectSocials does not store credit card details entered at the time of purchase. That information is sent directly to our secure payment processor, and we only store the necessary references to your account such that we can securely process transactions.
CollectSocials does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described in this policy. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
Guest Submissions to an Event Wall
Some CollectSocials customers run a live event wall and invite the people in the room to post to it — usually by scanning a QR code on a screen. If you are one of those guests, you are submitting content to that customer's wall, and they decide what appears on it. You do not need a CollectSocials account, and we do not ask you to create one.
What we receive and store when you submit: the photo, video or message you send; the display name you type (you choose it, and it does not have to be your real name); the confirmation that you agreed to the customer's terms for that wall; and basic technical data about the request, which we use to prevent spam and abuse. We do not ask for your email address, phone number, or social media account.
How it is used: your submission is shown to the event organiser for approval and, if approved, displayed on their wall and any website feed they have connected to it. It may be screened automatically for prohibited content before a human sees it. We do not use guest submissions to build a profile of you, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to advertise to you.
Withdrawing it: the event organiser can remove any submission from their wall at any time, and removal takes effect on every connected screen. If you want your own submission taken down and cannot reach the organiser, contact us at privacy@collectsocials.com with enough detail to identify the post and we will remove it. Because the organiser controls the wall, they are the data controller for its contents and we act on their behalf; we will also pass your request on to them.
3. Facebook and Instagram Data Usage
When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account to CollectSocials, we access and display your public posts, photos, and videos using the Meta Graph API. Specifically, we:
- Retrieve your public posts, photos, and videos from your connected Facebook Pages or Instagram Business/Creator accounts
- Display this content in your custom social media feeds and widgets
- Cache this content to improve performance and reduce API calls. Cached content is refreshed periodically and deleted when you disconnect a source.
We do NOT:
- Access your private messages, direct messages, or non-public personal information
- Post on your behalf without your explicit, individual action
- Sell or share your Facebook/Instagram data with any third parties
- Use your Facebook/Instagram data for advertising or marketing purposes beyond operating our service
- Store any Facebook/Instagram data beyond what is necessary to display your connected feeds
Revoking Access
You can disconnect your Facebook or Instagram account at any time from your CollectSocials dashboard. Upon disconnection, we immediately purge all associated access tokens and cease fetching new content. Previously imported content is retained within your curated feeds; because the networks serve photos and video from links they sign, those images may stop loading within a few days once fetching stops, while captions and links remain. You may manually delete this content at any time by removing the source or feed from your dashboard.
Data Deletion via Facebook Settings
If you use Facebook's platform settings to request deletion of data associated with CollectSocials, we will automatically receive that request through our data deletion callback. We will process your request immediately and delete all associated Meta Platform Data (access tokens, posts, and connection records). You will receive a confirmation code and can track the status of your deletion request at: https://collectsocials.com/deletion-status?code=[your-code]
4. TikTok Data Usage
When you connect your TikTok account to CollectSocials, we access and display your public profile information and video content using the official TikTok API. Specifically, we:
- Retrieve your TikTok username, display name, avatar, and profile information
- Retrieve your public video list, including video descriptions, thumbnails, and playback metadata
- Display this content in your custom social media feeds and embedded widgets
- Cache this content to improve performance and reduce API calls. Cached content is refreshed periodically and deleted when you disconnect a source.
We do NOT:
- Access your private or draft videos, direct messages, or non-public personal information
- Post on your behalf or interact with other TikTok accounts on your behalf
- Sell, rent, or share your TikTok data with any third parties
- Use your TikTok data for advertising or marketing purposes beyond operating our service
- Store any TikTok data beyond what is necessary to display your connected feeds
Revoking Access
You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time from your CollectSocials dashboard. Upon disconnection, we immediately delete all associated access and refresh tokens and cease fetching new content. Previously imported content is retained within your curated feeds; because the networks serve photos and video from links they sign, those images may stop loading within a few days once fetching stops, while captions and links remain. You may manually delete this content at any time by removing the source or feed from your dashboard.
TikTok Platform Compliance
CollectSocials complies with TikTok's Platform Policy, Terms of Service, and developer guidelines. All data access is performed through the official TikTok API, and we do not employ any scraping, crawling, or unauthorized data collection methods.
5. Pinterest Data Usage
When you connect your Pinterest account to CollectSocials, we access and display your public profile information and Pin content using the official Pinterest API. Specifically, we:
- Retrieve your Pinterest username, display name, avatar, and profile information
- Retrieve your own Pins, boards, and related metadata (such as descriptions and images)
- Display this content in your custom social media feeds and embedded widgets
- Cache this content to improve performance and reduce API calls. Cached content is refreshed periodically and deleted when you disconnect a source.
We do NOT:
- Access your private boards, direct messages, or non-public personal information
- Pin on your behalf or interact with other Pinterest accounts on your behalf
- Sell, rent, or share your Pinterest data with any third parties
- Use your Pinterest data for advertising or marketing purposes beyond operating our service
- Store any Pinterest data beyond what is necessary to display your connected feeds
- Scrape, crawl, or use any unauthorized data collection methods to access Pinterest content
Authorization and Revoking Access
You must authorize CollectSocials via Pinterest's OAuth flow before any data is accessed. You can disconnect your Pinterest account at any time from your CollectSocials dashboard or through Pinterest's connected apps settings.
Pinterest Platform Compliance
CollectSocials complies with Pinterest's Developer Terms, Terms of Service, and community guidelines. All data access is performed through the official Pinterest API, and we do not employ any scraping, crawling, or unauthorized data collection methods.
6. LinkedIn Data Usage
When you connect your LinkedIn account to CollectSocials, we access and display the posts from the LinkedIn Company Pages you administer, using the official LinkedIn Community Management API. Our LinkedIn integration is read-only. Specifically, we:
- Identify your LinkedIn account by the administrator role you hold, solely to associate your connection (we do not retrieve your personal profile details such as your name, photo, headline, or connections)
- Retrieve the list of LinkedIn Company Pages on which you are an Administrator
- Retrieve the posts published on those Company Pages, and — where available — their like and comment counts
- Display this content in your custom social media feeds and embedded widgets
- Cache this content to improve performance and reduce API calls. Cached content is refreshed periodically and deleted when you disconnect a source.
We do NOT:
- Create, edit, delete, comment on, react to, or publish any content — our LinkedIn integration is strictly read-only
- Access your private messages, connections, or non-public personal information
- Access data from Pages or profiles you do not administer
- Sell or share your LinkedIn data with any third parties
- Use your LinkedIn data for advertising, marketing, or sales purposes
- Store any LinkedIn data beyond what is necessary to display your connected feeds
Revoking Access
You can disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time from your CollectSocials dashboard. Upon disconnection, we immediately delete all associated access and refresh tokens and cease fetching new content.
7. Additional Platform Integrations
The integrations in this section are live and available to customers today: X (Twitter), YouTube, Google Reviews, Tumblr, Vimeo, and RSS feeds. They divide into two kinds, and the difference matters for your privacy.
- Connected sources require you to sign in to the platform and authorise CollectSocials. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and X profile timelines work this way. We hold an access token for your account, and you can revoke it.
- Public sources require no sign-in and no token. You give us a public address, such as a YouTube channel, a Google business listing, a Tumblr blog, a Vimeo profile, an RSS feed URL, or a hashtag, and we retrieve the publicly available content at that address using CollectSocials' own API credentials. We are not signed in to your account on these platforms and cannot see anything private in them.
X (Twitter)
For your own profile timeline, you authorise CollectSocials through X's OAuth flow and we retrieve your posts, profile information, and related metadata through the official X API. We do not access your direct messages or private content, and you can revoke access at any time from your CollectSocials dashboard or through X's app authorization settings.
Hashtag sources work differently: they search publicly available posts using CollectSocials' own X API credentials rather than your account, so no sign-in is involved. Because a hashtag search returns posts written by other people, the content we cache for those sources includes each matching post's public author name, handle, and profile image. See Content from people who are not CollectSocials users below.
YouTube
YouTube sources use YouTube API Services with CollectSocials' own API key. You supply a channel, playlist, or video address and we retrieve the publicly available video data for it, such as titles, descriptions, thumbnails, publish dates, and public statistics. There is no Google sign-in, we do not connect to your YouTube account, and we cannot access private or unlisted videos, your subscriptions, or your viewing history.
Google Reviews
Google Reviews sources use the Google Places API with CollectSocials' own API key. You search for a business listing and we retrieve that listing's publicly available details together with the reviews Google returns for it, which is up to five per listing. Each review includes the reviewer's public display name, profile image, star rating, review text, and the time it was written.
There is no Google sign-in and no ownership check, so anyone can display reviews for any listing they can find. Google decides which reviews its API returns; we cannot choose them and cannot retrieve more than Google provides.
Tumblr
Tumblr sources use the official Tumblr API with CollectSocials' own API key. You supply a blog name or a tag, and we retrieve the publicly available posts for it, including text, photos, and post metadata. There is no Tumblr sign-in and we cannot access private posts, drafts, or messages. Tag sources return posts written by other people, so the same third-party note below applies.
Vimeo
Vimeo sources use the official Vimeo API with CollectSocials' own application credentials. You supply a Vimeo profile or video address and we retrieve the publicly available video data for it, such as titles, descriptions, thumbnails, and durations. There is no Vimeo sign-in, and we cannot access private, unlisted, or password-protected videos.
RSS Feeds
RSS sources involve no platform API at all. You enter the address of a public feed and CollectSocials requests that address directly, then displays the items the publisher chose to include, such as titles, summaries, links, and images. We store only what the feed itself publishes. If a feed requires authentication, we cannot read it.
Content from people who are not CollectSocials users
Public sources can return content created by people who have no relationship with us: a customer who left a Google review, or the author of a post carrying a hashtag or tag. That content can include personal data such as a display name, a profile photo, and whatever the person chose to publish.
We process it for one purpose only, which is to display it in the feed the CollectSocials customer built. We do not use it to build profiles, we do not sell or rent it, and we do not use it for advertising. The customer chooses which sources to add and which posts to publish, so they decide what appears on their website and are responsible for that decision; we act on their behalf. If content about you is showing in a CollectSocials feed and you want it removed, contact the site owner, or write to us at privacy@collectsocials.com with enough detail to identify the post and we will remove it and pass your request on to them.
Common commitments
For every integration in this section:
- All data access is performed exclusively through official APIs, or by requesting a public feed address you supplied. We do not use scraping, crawling, or any unauthorized data collection method.
- The content shown in your feeds is stored so your feeds load quickly and to reduce API calls, and it is deleted when you remove the source or feed, or when you delete your account. Separately, we keep short-lived technical caches of public API responses, which hold no account or login data, are not specific to you, and expire on their own within 24 hours or sooner.
- Data retrieved is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
- For connected sources, revoking access or deleting your account deletes the stored tokens. Public sources have no token to revoke; removing the source stops all further retrieval.
- CollectSocials does not claim any partnership with, endorsement by, or official affiliation with any of these platforms.
If we add a new platform integration, this policy is updated to describe it before that integration is offered to customers.
8. Requesting Data Deletion
You may request deletion of all personal data CollectSocials holds about you at any time, free of charge, with no conditions or requirements. We offer self-service deletion directly from your account settings.
Self-Service Deletion
You can delete your account data directly from your CollectSocials dashboard:
- Log in to your CollectSocials account
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy
- Click "Delete My Account"
- Confirm by typing DELETE
Deletion is immediate and permanent. All Meta Platform Data (access tokens, posts, sources, and feeds) is deleted instantly. All Pinterest data (including access tokens, refresh tokens, and imported Pin content) is also deleted instantly. All LinkedIn data (including access tokens, refresh tokens, and imported company page post content) is also deleted instantly. For every other source you have added, whether connected or public (X, YouTube, Google Reviews, Tumblr, Vimeo, and RSS feeds), the sources, feeds, cached content, and any associated tokens are deleted instantly as well.
Manual Content Deletion
You can also selectively delete content without deleting your entire account:
- Delete individual sources (which removes all associated posts)
- Delete individual feeds/widgets
- Disconnect social media accounts (tokens deleted; content retained until you manually remove sources)
Email-Based Deletion
Alternatively, you can request deletion by sending an email to support@collectsocials.com with the subject line "Account Data Deletion Request" and include your account email address. We will process your request within 7 days.
What we retain: Upon receiving a deletion request, we immediately remove all Meta Platform Data (including access tokens and imported social content), all TikTok data (including access tokens, refresh tokens, and imported video content), all Pinterest data (including access tokens and imported Pin content), all LinkedIn data (including access tokens, refresh tokens, and imported company page post content), and all data from any other connected platforms. We may retain certain account-level information, such as your email address and transaction history, for the purposes of fraud prevention, security, and to prevent abuse of our trial systems, as permitted by applicable law.
You do not need to provide a reason for requesting deletion. We will not charge a fee for this request. For complete data erasure under GDPR/CCPA (including email and transaction history), please indicate this explicitly in your deletion request.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service:
- Account data (name, email, settings): Retained for the duration of your active account. When you request data deletion, your sources and feeds are deleted but basic account information (email, signup date) is retained for business purposes.
- Cached social media content: Retained within your curated feeds and refreshed periodically while the source is active. Upon source disconnection, previously imported content remains in your feeds until you manually delete the source or feed. All content is permanently deleted upon account deletion.
- Access tokens (Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/Pinterest and other connected platforms): Stored encrypted. Deleted immediately upon source disconnection or account deletion.
- Payment references (not card details): Retained for up to 7 years as required by financial regulations.
- Server logs: Retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
10. Aggregated Statistics
CollectSocials may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its website and service. For instance, CollectSocials may anonymously log aggregated statistics of popular layouts, themes, or adoption rates of certain features. CollectSocials may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, CollectSocials does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described in this policy.
11. Protection of Your Information
CollectSocials discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors, and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on CollectSocials's behalf or to provide services available at the CollectSocials website, and (ii) have agreed not to disclose it to others.
Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country. By using CollectSocials's websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmissions. Sensitive data, including access tokens, is encrypted at rest in our database.
If you are a registered user of CollectSocials and have supplied your email address, CollectSocials may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or keep you up to date with what's going on with CollectSocials and our products. We primarily use our product blog to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum.
